Gutter installation and repair in Cedar Park, TX
Cedar Park grew fast between 1990 and 2010, and most of those two-story homes got builder-grade gutters on the front and nothing on the back. We install, replace and resize them for the way it rains north of Austin.
Gutters in Cedar Park
Drive through Buttercup Creek, Forest Oaks, Twin Creeks, Ranch at Brushy Creek or Cypress Creek and look at the back of the houses. Most have a bare drip edge and a line of dirt splashed up the brick. The builders put gutters over the front door and the garage because that's what the buyer sees, and skipped the rest. Twenty years on, the front gutters have spike hangers backing out and 2x3 downspouts that can't keep up, and the back of the house has a trench under the eave and a patio that floods at one corner.
Cedar Park sits right on the Balcones Escarpment. West of Lakeline it's limestone; east toward Brushy Creek it turns to clay. Either way the water needs to go somewhere. On the rock side downspouts erode; on the clay side they swell the soil against the slab. Foundation repair companies do a lot of business in Cedar Park and a working set of rain gutters with the downspouts extended is the cheapest thing you can do to stay off their list.
The Cedar Park install
Gutter installation Cedar Park homeowners call about is usually one of two jobs. The first is finishing the house: adding seamless gutters to the back and sides of a 2000s two-story that only ever had them on the front, matched to the existing color. A typical back-and-sides job is 120–160 feet with four downspouts, $1,300–$2,300. The second is a full replacement of 1990s sectional aluminum on older Buttercup Creek and Anderson Mill West homes, where every seam weeps; those run 180–220 feet and $2,000–$3,400 with 3x4 downspouts and the tear-off included.
Both come with a fascia check first. Behind a front gutter that has overflowed for years there's usually one soft board at the corner by the garage, and it gets replaced before the new gutter goes up.
Repairs
The most common Cedar Park repair is the overflow at the far corner of a long back run: one downspout for 1,000 square feet of roof. A second downspout and a 3x4 upsize solves it for $200–$350. After that it's sagging runs on spike hangers, corners baked open on the west side, and downspouts flattened by the trailer. See gutter repair for prices.

HOA note
Most Cedar Park communities have architectural guidelines that cover gutter color. We match the existing trim from the manufacturer's chart and can provide the spec sheet if the committee wants it. Twin Creeks and Ranch at Brushy Creek ask fairly often; it's a one-page PDF.
Leander, Round Rock and Avery Ranch
Leander is the same housing a few years newer, with the same partial gutters, and gutter repair Leander TX calls are handled by the same crew. Avery Ranch straddles the Austin city line and gets the same pricing. Round Rock is next door: gutter repair Round Rock homeowners call about is mostly 1990s Forest Creek and Brushy Creek homes with spike hangers backing out. Can you add gutters to just the back of my Cedar Park house?
Yes. Completing a partial system is the most common Cedar Park install. We match the color and profile of the existing front gutters, run seamless aluminum on the back and sides with 3x4 downspouts, and extend the downspouts away from the slab. A typical back-and-sides job is $1,300–$2,300.
Do you charge extra to come to Cedar Park or Leander?
No. Cedar Park, Leander, Avery Ranch and Round Rock are all inside our normal service area at the same prices as Austin. Estimates are free, in writing, and good for 30 days.
Will new gutters match my builder's front gutters?
Almost always. Builder gutters are 5-inch K-style in white, clay, brown or a trim color from the standard chart, and we carry all of them. If the existing front gutters are failing too, replacing everything at once is cheaper per foot than doing it in two trips.
